Acrylic surfaces are quite famous in the field of sports as the world's largest tournaments are held on such surface. They provide fast and high level tennis games and are used for training and competition, especially for tournaments with multiple entries, for new athletes and for many other categories / ages.
 
Tennis surfaces are technically advanced and 100% acrylic. The acrylic system is designed to provide consistent play performance, dense texture and vivid colors to any indoor or outdoor installation. They are designed to maintain the colouring, even under the heavy weather conditions (ice, snow, high temperatures).
 
With the appropriate elastic layer additions, acrylic surfaces provide elasticity for shock absorption, achieving precise control of the speed, correct ball bounce and maximum player performance. 
 
Acrylic resins can be applied to properly made asphalt, concrete or existing acrylic tennis court surfaces and is a system usually made up of the following materials:
 

• Bituminous putty - 1 Coating
• Adhesive material - 1 Coating
• Rubber layer - 1 to 5 Coatings
• Acrylic resins - 1 to 3 Coatings
• Final Acrylic Paint - 1 Coating
• Marking according to ITF Standards

Clay court

The clay court is the most traditional and favorite tennis court surface. Provides average speed of the ball and is intended for all users (beginners, veterans, amateurs, professionals).
 
Most players agree that playing on a clay court is very different than on a court with synthetic turf or hard courts.
 
The construction of clay tennis courts is quite demanding and specialized because it is constructed in many stages / layers. Each layer has to be made with specific materials, granulometries and thicknesses, so that there is smooth drainage of the water, maintaining the specific moisture of the surface and achieving maximum homogeneity and smoothness.
 
It is well known that the clay courts require more and continuous maintenance than the other tennis surfaces. However, a clay court constructed according to the right standards, following the necessary instructions for its daily maintenance, can remain in good condition for many years.
 
Besides the clay court surface, Hellasod undertakes the construction of special fencing, the construction of the irrigation system, the installation of the lighting of the field as well as the complete tennis court equipment.
