With the completion of the Superleague play-offs in mid-May, the first season of operation of AEK FC New Stadium is completed, a project of high standards, constructed by Hellasod S.A.
Hellasod, continuing a successful course of 25 years, in Greece and Southeastern Europe, undertook:

• The construction of the subbase of the playing field
• The design and construction of the drainage system
• The design and installation of the irrigation system
• The installation of natural turf of special specifications suitable for the subsequent installation of hybrid turf with the method of nailed fiber

 
For the natural turf, the TAHOMA 31 variety was used, ideal for the construction of football fields due to its excellent resistance to many hours of intense use.
Today, Hellasod provides high quality maintenance to AEK's stadium.
