Approximately 20 million high quality and performance synthetic fibers, nailed into the substrate, provide great reinforcement to the natural grass, so that the court has the maximum efficiency for a long time up to 15 years of use.

A GrassMaster field is made of 100% natural grass, reinforced with unique synthetic fibers, carefully installed in the trench.
The fibers are made of high-performance polypropylene (HPF), produced by a patented method. They are nailed to the substrate at a depth of 18 cm, in a grid about 2 cm x 2 cm to provide vertical reinforcement across the surface of the stadium.
The fibers protrude 1.5-2 cm above the surface of the root zone. Overall, 20 million synthetic (HPF) fibers reinforce each GrassMaster field.
Synthetic fibers give maximum stability to the substrate, provide great reinforcement to the natural grass (the roots of the lawn wrap the nailed fiber), thus ensuring maximum uniformity and flatness of the surface.
The best way, when there is enough time, is to seed the grass after the HPF synthetic fiber has been installed. The second option is the sowing of the natural grass before installing the synthetic fibers. The third option is to install the synthetic fiber directly into the existing natural grass.
In all cases, the final result is the same: the roots of the grass are integrated with the fibers that have been installed to create an extremely durable field and a flat, stable and natural surface.
